DUDLEY OREN LEETUN, Funeral services for Mr. Dudley Oren Leetun or Marydale Farm, St. Francisville, Louisiana, were held at 11:00a.m. Friday December 3, 1965, at the First Baptist Church in St. Francisville, officiated by the Reverend George A.Nicols, with interment at Star Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Leeton passed away at the age of 42 at his home last Wednesday, December 1, 1965 at 10:00 a.m. As all of his friends know, he had under-gone heart surgery in Houston last Spring. Due to complications, his demise was quite sudden, and he will be sorely missed by his family and the many friends he made during the short time he lived in the Parish.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. Francisville, and a member of the Iowa Chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Leetun, St. Francisville; two daughters, Misses Linda and Barbara, St. Francisville; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Leetun, Eustis, Florida; one brother, Maynard Leetun, Lakeland, Florida; one aunt, Mrs. Jeannette Midgorden, Des Moines, Iowa.

Pallbearers were Walter Ekhoff, Alexandria, Louisiana; A.M. Daniel, St. Francisville, Louisiana, S.L.(Gene) Thompson, New Orleans, Louisiana; Glen Punkett, Thibodaux, Louisiana; and Charles Brown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Dominique, Lafayette, Louisiana; Charles Alsbrook, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Billy Hodges, Alexandria, Louisiana; Leo Ristroph, St. Francisville, Louisiana; Dr. Alfred Gould, St. Francisville, Louisiana; Vic Anderson, St. Francisville, Louisiana; Tom Williams, Moultrie, Georgia; Dr. Fred D. Cheney, Gulfport, Mississippi; and Lloyd J. Cobb, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mr. Leetun was employed as head cattle buyer for Thompson Packing Company, New Orleans and Thibodaux, Louisiana. At the time of his death he was living at Marydale Farm, supervising a feed lot operation in addition to his regular duties.
