This cemetery is nestled in the foothills of Lafayette, California. The park is backed by Briones Regional Park and faces majestic Mount Diablo to the south.
The views are breathtaking. Lafayette is located next to Walnut Creek and Concord and is only 35 minutes east of San Francisco.
You can easily access Oakmont from the nearest freeway which is only 10 Miles away from the cemetery.
The plots are located in the garden of Sanctuary Redwood Lawn Crypts. This is a quaint section with less than 40 full burial plots.
The garden is surrounded by mature west facing redwood trees. These redwood trees offer visitors shade by 12 PM in the warmer months.
The grounds are maintained on a regular basis and the whole park is green, sitting on rolling hills with mature trees and landscape.
There is easy access parking on the street just 10 feet from the plots. The cemetery has installed a wheelchair accessible sidewalk to assist you and your family.
The sound of the babbling brook across the street makes for a serene space to visit your loved ones. Redwood Sanctuary is located on the first tier along side the original gardens of the cemetery.

This section is located 100 feet from the cemetery office, mortuary and the beautiful Redwood Chapel.
